Hi, I’m Sheldon Barry, a Chartered Accountant from South Africa, currently residing in Brisbane, Australia. This page describes a little bit about me and why I have this blog. More detail on my professional profile can be found on LinkedIn.

I have worked in accounting, auditing and finance for a large part of my professional career. However, my passion for information technology has led me on a path focused on the risk assurance surrounding information technology, data, controls and related processes.

In my spare time, I like to challenge myself with various coding and technology projects, some of which I have been able to use effectively to improve the everyday workflows in both personal and business tasks.

This blog is a place to help me organise my thoughts on these personal projects and hopefully learn few new things along the way.
